Helmet signed: "Marshall Faulk/HOF 2011", Riddell Throwback Los Angeles Rams Mini-Helmet signed in black felt tip. With PSA/DNA sticker and Certificate of Authenticity (#M95332). NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk was born on February 26, 1973. After excelling as a running back at San Diego State University, Faulk was drafted second overall in the 1994 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. In his first year he was the Offensive Rookie of the Year as well as the MVP of the Pro Bowl. After five seasons with the Colts, including a trip to the AFC Championship game, he was traded to the St. Louis Rams. With the Rams Faulk posted some of the highest all-purpose numbers for a running back in NFL history. In his first year he helped take the team to Super Bowl XXXIV where they defeated the Tennessee Titans 23-16. In 2000 he won the NFL MVP Award and became the first running back in history to lead his team in receptions for five separate seasons. In 2001 he won his third consecutive NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award and helped the Rams get all the way to a last minute upset against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI. In eleven seasons Faulk accumulated 12,279 Rushing Yards, 6,875 receiving yards (the most of any running back in NFL history) and 136 touchdowns. In 2011, his first year of eligibility, Faulk was inducted into thePro Football Hall of Fame. His #28 is retired by the St. Louis Rams. Fine condition.
