The longtime stage and film actress signs candid 6x4 photograph in black ink
Inscribed photograph signed: "To Clint/ All the/ good things/ Martha Scott" in black ink. Color, 6x4. Martha Scott (1912-2003) debuted on Broadway in Our Town (1938), and won an Oscar nomination for the same performance on film (1940). In 1941 she earned plaudits for One Foot in Heaven and Cheers for Miss Bishop. Scott played Charlton Heston's mother in both The Ten Commandments (1956) and Ben Hur (1959). More such roles followed on TV, as Bob's mom on The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1977) and Lindsay Wagner's on The Bionic Woman (1975-1977). Other TV performances included a recurring guest role on Dallas (1979-1985). Fine condition.
