Martin Linn Clardy (1844-1914) was an American politician, lawyer and railroad executive who served Missouri's 1st and 10th districts in the US House of Representatives from 1879 and 1889. A Confederate soldier during the Civil War, Clardy was a lawyer in Farmington, Missouri. He later was appointed general attorney of the Missouri Pacific Railway and the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway. He died as the vice president and general solicitor of the companies in 1914. Edges lightly creased and frayed. Otherwise, fine condition.
