Autograph Note signed: "Karen-/Happy Christmas/Martin Sheen/Dec.
22/1980", 8x5. Beneath the inscription, Sheen has drawn a stick figure,
likely representing himself. In the year he signed this autograph, Sheen
appeared in one feature film, The Final Countdown. Actor Martin Sheen
has appeared in a wide variety of films, most notably Apocalypse Now
(1979), Gandhi (1982), Wall Street (1987), The American
President (1995) and Monument Ave. (1998). He won an Emmy
Award for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Murphy Brown, 1994),
and Sheen has won a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild awards for his
role as President Josiah Bartlett on the TV series The West Wing.
Sheen is the father of actors Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Ramon Estevez and
Renee Estevez. Lightly creased with folds, light vertical folds at the "he" of
Sheen. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso (light show through at blank left
