Martin Sheen signed this contract in 1974 to hire Creative Management
Associates as his agent for one year. It was signed two years before Sheen began
filming on Apocalypse Now. Signed with Sheen's birth name of Ramon G.
Estevez. Documents with his birth name are very rare and highly
desirable.

both in blue ink.Also signed by two unknown signers. 5 pages,
8¼x10¾, 3 sheets front and verso, bound with 1 staple. Los Angeles,
California, Nov. 1, 1974. American Federation of Television and Radio
Artists Exclusive Agency Contract. Sheen signed this one-year contact to hire
Creative Management Associates, Inc. as his agent for a 10 percent commission.
Sheen was rather busy in 1974, with five TV movies, including The Missiles of
October and starring roles in The Execution of Private Slovak and
The California Kid. But he was still two years away starting shooting on
the movie that would give him his best shot at stardom in this decade:
Apocalypse Now, which was shot in 1977 and released in 1979.
Sheen, born Ramon Gerard Antonio Estevez in 1940, has appeared in a wide
variety of films, most notably Apocalypse Now (1979), Gandhi
(1982), Wall Street (1987), The American President (1995) and
Monument Ave. (1998). He won an Emmy Award for Best Guest
Actor in a Comedy Series (Murphy Brown, 1994), and Sheen has won a
Golden Globe (2001) and three Screen Actors Guild Awards (2000, 2001, 2002)
for his role as President Josiah "Jed" Bartlet on the TV series, The West
Wing (1999-2006). Sheen was also nominated for Emmy Awards (2000,
2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006), additional Golden Globes (2000, 2002,
2003, 2004) and SAG Awards (both as part of the ensemble cast and as a
lead actor), and he won an ALMA Award in 2001 (also nominated in 2000 and
2002). In the year the series ended, Sheen was seen on the big screen in
Border Town, Bobby and The Departed. He is the father of
actors Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Ramon Estevez and Renee Estevez.
Lightly toned and creased. Signatures touch but are legible. Staple holes
