Partly Printed Contract signed: "Marty Allen" and "Steve Rossi", 8p, 8½x11. Initialed by the two on two pages. No place, 1960 February 15. Countersigned: "Harvey B. Sindle" as Assistant Secretary of Roncom Productions. ALLEN and ROSSI agree to appear on Perry Como's Kraft Music Hall, April 6, 1960, 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM for $2,000. Rehearsals as required. The comedy duo of Allen and Rossi was the act that followed The Beatles' first appearance on American TV on February 9, 1964 on The Ed Sullivan Show. Sullivan liked the combination so well that Allen and Rossi were invited back to follow The Beatles on their other two appearances on his show. Perry Como hosted the Kraft Music Hall from 1959-1963. Martin and Rossi were a popular comedy team of the 1960s, appearing frequently on Hollywood Palace and The Ed Sullivan Show (Sullivan liked to have them as guests during appearances by The Beatles). They also co-starred in a spy spoof, Last of the Secret Agents (1966). This contract was with Como's production company, Roncom. Folds at left corners. Fine condition.
