Autograph Note signed: "To Jeffrey -/ Best wishes,/ Marv/ Albert", 2¼x3½ lined sheet. Marv Albert (b. 1941), born Marv Philip Aufrichtig, was a NBC TV announcer and radio broadcaster for the New York Knicks, Rangers and Giants from 1977-1997. Known for his trademark, "Yessss!!!", in 1997, the year he won the Curt Gowdy Award, Albert pled guilty to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from embarrassing allegations regarding his sex life. Dismissed by NBC, he was hired by the MSG & Turner networks in 1998 and re-hired by NBC in 1999. Albert is the father of Kenny Albert, who broadcasts hockey for MSG and NFL football for Fox Sports, and the brother of sportscasters Steve and Al Albert. Lightly creased.
