lower margin. American composer/arranger/conductor Marvin Hamlisch (1944-2012) the
youngest student ever accepted - at age seven - to the Julliard School of Music, became a
household name after winning three Oscars in one night in 1973: two for The Way We
Were and one for The Sting. Hamlisch won both a Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize for A
Chorus Line (1976). Additionally, he has won 3 Golden Globe Awards, 4 Emmy Awards
and was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2007. He is the Principal
Pops Conductor for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, The National Symphony
Orchestra, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and starting in 2009, the Colorado
Symphony Orchestra. Fine condition.
