MARY D. FISHER. TLS: "Mary" as Staff Assistant to the President, ¾p, 8x10½. The White House, Washington, 1975 July 15. To Mr. William E. Minor, Cincinnati, Ohio. Begins: "Dear Ernie". In full: "I will never be able to thank you enough for your invaluable assistance, cooperation and patience during the President's visit to Cincinnati. I hope you were as pleased as all of us were with the way the President's trip unfolded. Now I understand why everyone says that if you don't know Ernie Minor in Cincinnati, you don't get anything done! The President was very pleased with the stop and I hope that everyone at the EPA is equally satisfied. Please convey my deepest thanks to all those on your committee who contributed extra time and effort to making the dedication of the National Research Center a great success. Again, Ernie, thank you for a wonderful time in Cincinnati, and if I can be of any assistance, please feel free to call on me. Warm personal regards." On July 3, 1975, President GERALD R. FORD had dedicated the $30 million National Environmental Research Center, located on a 20-acre site on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
