8x10. Singer and actress Mary Kay Place (born in 1947), who made her television
debut in a 1973 episode of All in the Family, had a regular role on
Forever Fernwood (1977-1978), a spin-off of Mary Hartman, Mary
Hartman (on which she guest starred) and guest starred on such series as
thirtysomething (1990), My So-Called Life (1995), Chicago
Hope (1995), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2002), The
West Wing (several appearances in 2004 as Surgeon General Millicent
Griffith), Jack & Bobby (2005), Grey's Anatomy (2006) and
Big Love (as Adaleen, 2006). She has also appeared in several
made-for-TV movies and co-wrote, with Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, three
episodes of M*A*S*H (1973-1974), one of which was nominated for an Emmy
Award, as well as episodes for other series. Place has also appeared in a
long list of feature films, including Bound for Glory (1976, her
debut), More American Graffiti (1979), Private Benjamin (1980),
The Big Chill (1983), Manny & Lo (1996), The
Rainmaker (1997), Being John Malkovich (1999), Girl,
Interrupted (1999) and Sweet Home Alabama (2002). She has released
two albums, Tonite! At the Capri Lounge Loretta Haggers (1976) and
Aimin' to Please (1977), and Place sang background vocals on pop
artist John Stewart's 1979 album, Bombs Away Dream Baby. Slightly creased
at blank margins and corners. Light black mark at lower left corner. Minor
surface creases (not evident head on). Fine condition.
