White (1949-2003), as follows: "1. Robert PRESTON - signed Friday
Feb. 7, 1969, while at the Morris Mechanic Theater. [Baltimore, Maryland] He was
very nice. 2. Mary MARTIN - signed Friday Feb. 7, 1969, while at the
Morris Mechanic Theater. She was extremely nice. She took me inside backstage
and talked to me and signed my book there. She liked my suede coat very much and
she was the nicest star I've ever met. 3. Craig STEVENS - signed Saturday
Feb. 15, 1969, while at the Morris Mechanic Theater. He was fairly nice, but I
accidently stepped on his foot as I backed into him. Maybe he did'nt [sic] like
that to [sic] much. 4. Art CARNEY - signed on opening night Tuesday March
25, 1969, while at the Morris Mechanic Theater. He was very quiet and nice. 5.
Jerry LEWIS - signed on Friday night August 13, 1971, while starring at
Painters Mill Music Fair. He was very nasty and mean but still signed. 6. Henry
MANCINI - signed on Saturday August 14, 1971, while at Luskin's [a
Maryland electronics retailer] making an appearance signing album. He was very
nice and liked my large autograph book. 7. Carol CHANNING - signed on
Saturday August 21, 1971, while at Luskin's making an appearance. She was very
very nice and vivid looking. 8. Julie HARRIS - signed on Saturday
September 11, 1971, while appearing at Morris Mechanic Theater. She was very
nice and she seems quiet and pleasant." Many blank pages remaining. Minor wear
to cover. Pinhead sized nick at top of spine. Otherwise, fine
condition.
