M*A*S*H TV CAST: GARY BURGHOFF and HARRY MORGAN
Signed color photo, arm in arm in uniform
Photograph signed: "Gary Burghoff", "Harry Morgan". Color, 10x8. M*A*S*H, set at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital Unit in wartime Korea, was inspired by the hit 1970 film, but with a gentler form of humor. Later episodes also introduced more serious dramatic themes. The Korean War lasted three years; M*A*S*H lasted 11 years (1972-1983), won 14 Emmy Awards, and is still seen in reruns. BURGHOFF played Corporal "Radar" O'Reilly, who often appeared to be running the unit, especially under its first Commanding Officer, Colonel Blake (played by McLean Stevenson). He left the series in 1979, but remained a frequent TV presence as a commercial spokesman. HARRY MORGAN (1915-2011) joined the cast as Colonel Sherman Potter in 1975, winning an Emmy for the role in 1980). He was already familiar to TV viewers as Officer Bill Gannon on Dragnet (1967-1970), and also co-starred in the series December Bride (1954-1958), Pete and Gladys (1960-1962), The Richard Boone Show (1964), Kentucky Jones (1964-1965), The D.A. (1971), Hec Ramsey (1972-1974), After MASH (1983-1984), Blacke's Magic (1986)and You Can't Take It With You (1987). Fine condition.
