M*A*S*H TV CAST: GARY BURGHOFF and JAMIE FARR
They sign a color cast photo from the "Colonel Blake" era (1972-1975).
Photograph signed: "Gary Burghoff/Radar", Jamie/Farr/'Klinger'". Color 14x11. M*A*S*H was televised from 1972-1983. It was set at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital Unit in wartime Korea. The Korean War lasted three years; M*A*S*H lasted 11 years and is still seen in reruns. BURGHOFF played Corporal "Radar" O'Reilly, who often appeared to be running the unit, especially under its first Commanding Officer, Colonel Blake (played by McLean Stevenson). He left the series in 1979, but remained a frequent TV presence as a commercial spokesman. FARR played Private, later Corporal, Max Klinger, who spent several seasons attempting to get a medical discharge by wearing women's clothing but later proved a capable replacement for "Radar". Farr played the same role in a short-lived sequel, Aftermash (1983). Also pictured are cast members Larry Linville, Loretta Swit, Alan Alda, McLean Stevenson, Wayne Rogers and William Christopher. This photo dates from one of the first three seasons of the popular series, since Rogers and Stevenson left the show in 1975. Fine condition.
