Captioned in lower margin for Cotillion Records. Mass Production, a 10-piece
funk/disco band reached #4 on the R&B charts with its 1979 hit
"Firecracker". Other hits included "Cosmic Lust", "Groove Me" and "Shante". They
disbanded in 1983. Signing here are six members: KEVIN "D'NO" DOUGLAS on
bass and vocals, JAMES "OTISTE" DRUMGOLE on trumpet and vocals, LARRY
MARSHALL on percussion and lead vocals, GREGORY McCOY (saxophone),
RICARDO WILLIAMS (lead vocals and percussion), and TYRONE WILLIAMS
(keyboards). This photo was signed in 1980, around the time the band released
their album Massterpiece. Altogether the band released 13
albums, 10 on the Cotillion label. Corners worn and creased. Signatures slightly
smeared, but legible. Otherwise, fine condition.
