Photograph signed "Matt". 7¾x10 overall with nine 2¼x2½ images. Composite cast photo from The Big Town (1987), in which Dillon starred. (c) Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. Signature is over Dillon's image at center right. Dillon is also in the central image with Diane Lanes. Best known early in his career for playing troubled youths, Dillon, born in New Rochelle, New York in 1964, made his film debut in Over the Edge (1979), followed by such other youth-oriented outings as Tex (1982), The Outsiders (1983), Rumble Fish (1983) and There's Something About Mary (1998). He made his first adult action film, Target, in 1985, and followed his success with such films as Drugstore Cowboy (1989), Wild Things (1998), Crash (2004) and Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005). Dillon has also written and directed a feature film (City of Ghosts, 2002) and directed an episode of the TV series, Oz (1999), and he has been seen on a number of TV talk shows, from The Late Show With David Letterman (1993) to The Oprah Winfrey Show (2005).
