The actress writes to a fan, thanking him for a lovely note
Autograph Letter signed: "Maureen Moore", 1 page, 8½x11. New York City, New York, 2003 October 7. Written to "Dear Stephen", in full: "What a lovely surprise I got last week when the stage doorman handed me several letters addressed to me that "someone had found" in the theatre. Among those was your lovely note dated May 31, 03 and although you must have taken me for a lost cause the time that had gone by had not diminished my appreciation in your kind words and enthusiasm. Best wishes in future endeavors and my apologies for the unfortunate circumstances that caused the delay of my gratitude. Sincerely" American stage and screen actress, Maureen Moore (b. 1951) made her off-Broadway debut in a 1972 production of Stephen Schwartz' musical Godspell. A few years later, Moore made her Broadway debut as June in the musical drama Gypsy. Since then, she has performed in over a dozen other Broadway productions including Falsettos (1992-1993) and The Threepenny Opera (2006). On screen, Moore has appeared in a number of titles including The Goodbye Girl (1978) and Pope of Greenwich Village (1984). Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
