Autograph Note signed: "Maureen O'Sullivan", 1 page, 6x3¾ blue-trimmed note card with her printed name. Postmarked White River Junction, Vermont, November 5, 1990. Addressed in signer's hand "Miss Joyce Lucas/715 W. Baseline #3-151/Tempe/Ariz 85283". In full: "I would be happy to send you photographs - but I have none here. Best wishes to Linda, Tobi & Annee - & you." Irish actress O'Sullivan (1911-1998) starred in such films as A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1931), The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1934), David Copperfield (1935), A Day at the Races (1937) and Pride and Prejudice (1941). She played Jane to Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan in six films (1932-1942), creating quite a sensation with her scanty apparel and nude swimming scene in Tarzan and His Mate (1934). Married to director John Farrow until his death in 1963, she is the mother of actresses Mia and Tisa Farrow. She portrayed Mia's mom on film in Hannah and Her Sisters (1986). A frequent TV guest star in the 1950s, she co-anchored Today (1964-1965). Smeared at "I" in wishes. Ink stamps on face. Otherwise, fine condition.
