Typescript signed: "Best of Luck!/Maureen O'Sullivan". Excerpt from Stars of the Screen - 1932, compiled and edited by Cedric Osmond Bermingham. A brief biography of signer through that year. Irish actress O'Sullivan (1911-1998) starred in such films as A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1931), The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1934), David Copperfield (1935), A Day at the Races (1937) and Pride and Prejudice (1941). She played Jane to Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan in six films (1932-1942), creating quite a sensation with her scanty apparel and nude swimming scene in Tarzan and His Mate (1934). Married to director John Farrow until his death in 1963, she is the mother of actresses Mia and Tisa Farrow. She portrayed Mia's mom on film in Hannah and Her Sisters (1986). A frequent TV guest star in the 1950s, she co-anchored Today (1964-1965). Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
