Maureen O'Hara (1920-2015) was an Irish actress who was awarded an honorary Academy Award in 2015. Dennis O'Keefe (1908-1968) was an American actor with over 240 movies and TV shows to his credit, many of them as an extra. Prominent British actor Laurence Olivier (1907-1989) earned three Oscars and an additional ten nominations during his illustrious career. Nancy Olson (b. 1928) earned an Oscar nomination for her role in Sunset Blvd. (1950). Edmond O'Brien (1915-1985) won an Oscar for portraying Oscar Muldoon in 1954's The Barefoot Contessa. Margaret O'Brien (b. 1937) was a child actress who appeared in Meet Me in St. Louis (1944), Little Women (1949), and The Secret Garden (1949). Although he was born in the United States, actor Pat O'Brien (1899-1983) became known as “Hollywood's Irishman in Residence” for his many roles as an Irish immigrant.
