8¼x13¾, 1 sheet, front and verso, binder holes along left edge. Dec. 31,
1964. Peterson signed this contract with Selmur Productions, Inc. to appear
as a judge in the Dec. 31, 1964 episode of General Hospital. He was to be
paid $155 plus 10 percent. Manson returned to General Hospital in 1969 as
Hank Pinkham. Manson (1913-2002), born Moritz Levine in Toronto, Ontario,
got his acting start on the stage, appearing in 14 Broadway productions between
1932 and 1949. He moved to the silver and small screens in 1948 with an
uncredited role in Close-Up. In all, he appeared in over 80 movies and TV
shows between 1948 and 1982, often in bit and character roles and with repeat
appearances on Hallmark Hall of Fame (1952-1953), Letter to
Loretta (1956-1959), Maverick (1957-1961), Perry Mason
(1958-1966), Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1959-1960), Dennis the
Menace (1960-1963), Hazel (1961-1965) and My Three Sons
(1963-1969). Lightly toned and creased. Staple hole and paper clip impression in
top left corner. Folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
