Signatures of the three stars of the 1988 film.
Photograph signed: "Billy Crystal", "JoBeth/Williams" and "Alan King". B/w, 10x8. Memories of Me, which was directed by Henry Winkler and co-written by Crystal, was released in October 1988. The film starred Crystal as Abbie, King as his father, Abe, and Williams as Lisa. BILLY CRYSTAL, who was doing stand-up comedy at age 16, made his TV debut on Soap in 1977. After successful guest appearances on Saturday Night Live, his film career took off. Among Crystal's hits, mostly comedies, are The Princess Bride (1987), When Harry Met Sally (1989), City Slickers (1991) and Analyze This (1999). A longtime baseball fan, Crystal produced *61, a drama on Roger Maris' pursuit of Babe Ruth's home rune record, for HBO in 2001. Crystal was also a hit as emcee of the Academy Award ceremonies, with his famous Clinton jibe, "Didn't Inhale!" JoBETH WILLIAMS' diverse career includes stage (A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking, Broadway, 1980), daytime soap operas (The Guiding Light, Somerset), television series (The Client, 1995, in Susan Sarandon's film role; Frasier, 1993 and 1994), roles in feature and television films and producing. After making her big screen debut in 1979 in Kramer vs. Kramer, Williams appeared in a number of feature films, including Poltergeist (1982) and its sequel, Poltergeist 2: The Other Side (1986), The Big Chill (1983) and Wyatt Earp (1994). Some of her best performances can be seen in made-for-television movies, including The Day After (1983) and Adam (1983), in which she portrayed Reve Walsh, the anguished mother of the murdered title character. Williams has also lent her vocal talents to the prime-time animated series, Fish Police (1982), and she co-produced the Oscar-nominated documentary On Hope (1994). ALAN KING (1927-2004) toured the U.S. and Great Britain, including a command performance before Queen Elizabeth II, with Judy Garland's variety show, He published his first book of jokes in 1962, and King continued appearing in clubs and hotels. King appeared on Broadway in the late 1960s, then moved on to films in the 1980s and 1990s. His credits include Author! Author! (1982), Enemies: A Love Story (1989), Bonfire of the Vanities (1990) and Casino (1995). Slightly creased at blank margins. Minor surface creases (not evident head on). Fine condition.
