Farina made his debut as Carl in the 1981 film Thief. Since then, he has gone on to appear in more than seventy-five titles including starring roles in Crime Story (1986-1988) and Law & Order (2004-2006). His other credits include Detective Dorato in the 1985 film Code of Silence, Bankie Como in the 1990 film Men of Respect, Lieutenant Colonel Anderson in the hit 1998 war-drama Saving Private Ryan, and Joe May in the 2011 film The Last Rites of Joe May. His marriage to Patricia Farina lasted ten years, during which time he fathered three children, including actor Joe Farina. JOHN TURTURRO (b. 1957) won an Obie while creating the title role in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (1984), and an Emmy as the brother of Adrian Monk on the TV series. He has appeared in nine Spike Lee films, beginning with Do the Right Thing (1989), and is also often featured in films of Adam Sandler and of the Coen brothers. A writer and director as well as an actor, he performed all three roles in Illuminata (1999), which co-starred his wife, Katherine Borowitz. Men of Respect (1990), was a gangster film inspired by Shakespeare's Macbeth. Corners slightly worn. Slightly toned. Slightly soiled. Otherwise, fine condition.
