Photograph signed: "Method/Man" vertically. Color, 11x8½ overall, image 10x6½ (one surface). A successful solo rap artist, Method Man (born Clifford Smith in 1971) has also found fame as the artistic partner of fellow rapper, Redman, and he was also an original member of the hip-hop group, the Wu-Tang Clan. After being featured in the documentary, The Show, in 1995, Method Man officially became an actor in the late 1990s, appearing in such films as The Great White Hype (1996), Cop Land (1997), Wu-Tang (1998), Belly (1998), Black and White (1999), Brown Sugar (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), Garden State (2004) and Venom (2005). He has also appeared in cameo roles in films and made guest appearances on several TV shows, including a recurring role as a young gangster on the gritty HBO prison drama, Oz (2001). Method Man has also contributed to the scores of several soundtracks of films, including Batman Forever (1995), Space Jam (1996), Bulworth (1998), Shaft (2000), Save the Last Dance (2001) and All About the Benjamins (2002). Slightly creased at blank margins. Minor surface creases (not evident head on). Fine condition.
