Handwritten note from the baseball player turned actor, extending
best wishes to a fan
Autograph note signed: "Clint/My Best Wishes/Sincerely/Michael
Dante", in black felt tip, 5x3. Michael Dante (b. 1931) was a
baseball player signed by the Boston Braves straight out of high school. While
at spring training he took a drama class at the University of Miami, screen
tested at MGM, and was in Somebody Up There Likes Me in 1956.
Appearing in some 30 films, including Westbound, Kid
Galahad, and Winterhawk, he had 150 plus television
appearances. In addition to making all of the Westerns, (Bonanza,
Cheyenne, Maverick, Sugarfoot, Death Valley Days,
etc.) he had recurring roles on General Hospital and Days of Our
Lives, and frequently appeared on Star Trek. Dante currently
hosts a talk radio program "On Deck". Creased on left margin. Slightly toned.
Corners slightly worn. Fine condition.
