Michael Feinstein (b. 1956), a popular singer and pianist, a Broadway performer and arranger, and co-owner of Feinstein's nightclub in New York City, is known for his efforts to collect and record the classical theatrical music known as the Great American Songbook. He has released many recordings of the Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, and other greats of Tin Pan Alley. Nominated for five Grammy awards, Feinstein is founder of the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana. In 2000 the Library of Congress named him to the National Recording Preservation Board. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso (no show through). Otherwise, fine condition.
