The British actor known for his roles in horror films and the
Batman series signs this sheet with a sentiment to a fan
Autograph note signed: "To John/Best wishesMichael/Gough" in
black ink. 5¾x3½. Michael Gough, (1916-2011) born in colonial Malaysia to
British parents, played the butler Alfred in all of the Tim
Burton/Joel Schumacher Batman series. Gough became known for
appearances in horror films including Dracula (1958),
Horrors of the Black Museum (1959), The Phantom of the
Opera (1962), Black Zoo (1963), Trog (1970), The
Corpse (1971), Horror Hospital (1973) and Norman J.
Warren's stockbroker-Satanism debut Satan's Slave (1976). He also
seems to have appeared in every British import with a cult following on American
TV, including The Saint, The Avengers, and Dr. Who. Lightly
toned. Pin-sized holes in left margin. Otherwise, fine
condition.
