Harold Robbins. He himself is a prolific fiction and nonfiction author.
Since 1975, his topics have included power, success, male chauvinism, cats, his
celebrity family and General Eisenhower. His novel Queenie was modeled on
his aunt, Merle Oberon; while Charmed Lives focused on his movie mogul
father and uncle, Vincent and Sir Alexander Korda. Reviewer Dwight Garner
observed in the New York Times in 2007 that Korda "may know more about what
