5½x8½. Michael Petit (b. 1964) is a retired NHL defenseman. In his 16
season long career Petit played for an at-the-time record 10 different teams;
these included the Vancouver Canucks (1982-1988), the New York Rangers
(1987-1989), the Los Angeles Kings (1994-1996), and the
Philadelphia Flyers (1996-1997). Chosen 11th overall in the 1983 NHL
draft, the large defenseman struggled to perform in Vancouver, and it wasn't
until his time in New York that he became a solid competitor. In 827 NHL
games, Petit earned 90 goal and 238 assists. After retiring in 2001, Petit
worked his way to become the Director of Hockey Operations for the Mercer Chiefs
AAA Ice Hockey Club. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
