the hell/Michael", Sepia 8x10. Michael Whalen (1902-1974) was an
American actor with over 70 movies and TV shows to his credit between 1935 and
1961. Whalen was a manager of a Woolworths as well as a radio and vaudeville
singer before entering films in 1935. He was a leading man at 20th
Century-Fox, with probably his best role from this period as Coppy in Wee
Willie Winkie (1937). He became a character actor by the 1940s and, by
1954, was seen almost exclusively on TV, including multiple episodes of
The Lone Ranger, Tombstone Territory and Highway
Patrol. Lightly worn. Otherwise, fine
condition.
