AFTRA membership application signed by actress Michi Kobi in 1958.
She was part of the original Broadway cast for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's
Nest.
Document signed "Michi Kobi". Black and blue ink notations and
lead pencil marks in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6¼x9, 1 sheet, front and verso. With
6½x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left edge stapled at
top edge. May 9, 1958. Membership form for the American Federation of
Television and Radio Artists. In 1958, Kobi appeared in episodes of Studio
One and Climax!. Kobi appeared as Nurse Nakamura in the
original Broadway production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
(1963-1964). She's also appeared in 12 movies and TV shows since the 1950s,
with starring roles in Tokyo After Dark (1959) and 12 to the Moon
(1960). Lightly toned and creased. Form is missing top right corner, has light
tears in left and right edges, light nicks in top and left edges and was folded
in quarters and unfolded. Receipt is missing top right corner, has staple holes
in top right corner and carbon copy marks and was folded once and unfolded.
Otherwise in fine condition.
