I'm so happy to talk to you that I can die. Hearing your wonderful voice is like re-born again. Jaynie I can't tell you how I fiel...You gived me a strength in life to look for tomorrow and live for the moment I can see you again! I was so unhappy, had no drive for living; but my love for you is grown all this time. I just can't forgive myself, until you forgive me my love. Because I held you once and I held all of you and like a terrible nightmare I was not able to hold you any longer. After, I become afraid I felt part of me was gone and find my self in the ocean drowning as I strogold to safety, the insecurity was born in me my ground become sheky. You was not around anymore to see to, talk to or take care of and most of all to hold in my arm...What a mistake I made...With out you I become a half of a man, I was scared, I had to lieve. I come to city where you loved it, Roma. I felt closer to you here, and now Jaynie my love, the whole world smiling to me, you made me happy and I would do anything in the world for you. I could become anything you wish. Thank you, thank you for making me so happy. Please keep the light burning front of my eyes. I love you so-much and so-deep. I want more than anything to please you Jaynie. I love you with all your five kids forever and ever until I die. I'll pray that sweet thoughts will fill your heart until.......Love you forever". MICKEY HARGITAY (1926-2006), born Miklos Hargitay in Budapest, Hungary, became a bodybuilder and won the Mr. Universe title in 1955. He then joined Mae West's stage show, where he was seen by actress JAYNE MANSFIELD (1933-1967). Despite West's efforts to break up the couple, they were married in January 1958. The couple made several films together, including Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? (1958), The Loves of Hercules (1960, with Hargitay in the title role) and Promises! Promises! (1963).With this love letter, Hargitay was trying to win Mansfield back. Jayne's marriage to Hargitay, her second, lasted from 1958 to 1964, resulting in 3 children. One month after her divorce from Hargitay became final (August 1964), she remarried Matt Cimber, and had another child (her fifth). By the date of this letter, Mansfield's third marriage was on the rocks; she would divorce Cimber in July 1966. Hargitay's assurance that he still loved her "with all your kids forever" would have been important to Jayne. In August 1967, Mansfield died in a car accident en route to a nightclub appearance. In September 1967, Hargitay sued his wife's estate for $275,000 in child support. The couple had three children: two sons and a daughter. Their daughter, Mariska Hargitay (whom actor Nelson Sardelli claimed to have fathered), became an actress. Mickey appeared on her successful TV series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, in 2003.
