Golf Ball signed: "Mickey/Mantle/NO.7". Top Flight XL golf ball signed by the Yankee Hall of Famer, who has added his uniform number. In 1969, #7 became the fourth Yankee uniform number to be retired. Gehrig's #4 was retired in 1939, Ruth's #3 in 1948 and DiMaggio's #5 in 1952. Mantle, who had been a talented football and basketball player in high school, later discovered golf, where he again proved to be a power hitter -- once driving 352 yards on the 17th hole at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa.
