MICKEY (MARY K. )WRIGHT Co-Signed by: LAURA DAVIES, HOLLIS STACY and VICKI FERGON
This remarkable signed typescript is a list of when and where Mickey Wright, Laura Davies, Hollis Stacy and Vicki Fergon shot low rounds of 62 strokes during professional tournaments. These rounds are career records for all four golfers.
Typescript Signed "Mickey/Wright", "Vicki Fergon", "Laura Davies" and "Hollis Stacy". 1 page, 8½x11. Titled: "* All-Time LPGA Tour Records */Scoring - 18 Holes/62". This is a list of four LPGA stars to shoot low rounds of 62, with details of where and when they shot these rounds and how much they were under par. These rounds are career records for all four golfers. Wright (1935-2020) won four U.S Women's Open Golf Championships and four LPGA titles. She has a total of 82 wins on the LPGA tour, second only to Kathy Whitworth's 88 wins. DAVIES, born Laura Jane Davies in Coventry, Great Britain in 1963, is a British golfer who became, in 1994, the first to finish at the top of the LPGA money list. A pro since 1985, she has a total of 70 pro wins, including 20 on the LPGA tour as of this biography. She also won the LPGA Championship in 1994 and 1996 and the du Maurier Classic in 1996. STACY, born in Savannah, Georgia in 1954, is the first and, as of this biography, only person to win the United States Girls' Junior Golf Championship three times (1969-1971). She went pro in 1974 and has since had 18 LPGA tour wins, three wins on the U. S. Women's Open (1977, 1978 and 1984) and one win on the Peter Jackson Classic (1983). FERGON had three wins on the LPGA tour, but her career high is probably her 62-stroke, 11-under-par, 11-birdie round at the 1984 San Jose Classic. Lightly toned and creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
