Program cover signed "Mickey Walker", "Lots of Luck/P J 'Pete' Perone" and "Wally Bonola", plus two other unidentified signers. B/w, 4 pages, 6½x10, 1 sheet folded, scalloped right edge. Program for the 16th Annual Banquet of Connecticut Boxing Guild, held in Bonola's honor at the Hedges in New Britain, Connecticut on May 26, 1964. Called the "Toy Bulldog,"WALKER (1901-1981) was World Welterweight Champion (1922-1926) and Middleweight Champion (1926-1931). BONOLA was Connecticut amateur middleweight champion from 1933 to 1937 and went on fight 19 professional fights after that. After retiring from boxing, he became boxing coach for the St. John the Evangelist Boys' Brigade in his hometown of New Britain, Connecticut. Lightly toned. Folded in quarters and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
