MICKI & MAUDE MOVIE CAST: ANN REINKING and DUDLEY MOORE
Shown together in a black and white publicity photograph for the 1984 film Micki & Maude
Photograph signed: "Dudley Moore" and "Ann Reinking", B/w 10x8. Publicity photograph for the 1984 film Micki & Maude. Dudley Moore (1935-2002) was a British composer, cabaret comedian and film and stage actor best known for his broad physical comedy and his hilarious high-brow performances with Peter Cook in the revue Beyond the Fringe. His films include 10 (1979), Arthur (1981-nominated for Best Actor Oscar and won the Golden Globe for Best Actor) and Micki and Maude (1984). He died from a rare brain disorder in March 2002. Ann Reinking, born in Seattle, Washington in 1949, is a Tony Award-winning American dancer, choreographer and actress. Reinking got her start in theatre; she debuted on Broadway as in the ensemble of Coco (1969-1970). She broke into TV with an appearance on Ellery Queen in 1976 and into movies in Movie Movie (1978). Her memorable movie roles include Kate Jagger in All That Jazz (1979), as Grace Farrell in Annie (1982) and as Micki Salinger in Micki + Maude (1984), her last movie role as of this biography. Reinking is better known for her stage work. She's performed in, choreographed and directed a total of 14 other Broadway productions, earning a Tony Award for Best Choregraphy for the 1996 revival of Chicago. She was also choreographer for the revue Fosse (1999-2001) - an interesting crew choice, as she and Bob Fosse had lived together for many years. Fine condition.
