Sale Price $72.00
Signed 4x6 photo, bare-fisted in T-shirt
Photograph signed: "All the best/Mick Abrams". B/w, 4x6. Photo: Derek Rowe (London). Micky Abrams won England's Amateur Boxing Association championship in the Light Flyweight division (maximum 48 kilograms, or 105.6 lbs.) three years in a row (1971-1973). He never turned pro because there wasn't much money to be made in the lighter weight divisions, but he won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in 1970. He was set to captain Britain's Olympic boxing team in 1972, but an eye injury kept him from competing. He is now a taxi driver. Pencil note (unknown hand) and photographer's stamp on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
