The host of daytime TV's The Mike Douglas Show, which began in Cleveland (1961) and entered national syndication two years later, Mike Douglas welcomed guests as varied as the Rolling Stones and Richard Nixon, but had an emphasis on entertainers. Douglas' popularity with housewives earned him the nickname "the coffee break Cary Grant". The show ended its long run in 1981. Fine condition.
