Color, 8x10. When Wayne Rogers left the hit TV series M*A*S*H, it
opened the opportunity for actor Mike Farrell (born in 1939) to play popular
Army surgeon B. J. Hunnicutt for the rest of the show's long run
(1975-1982). Farrell, who also directed several episodes of M*A*S*H,
had previously appeared (since 1963) as a guest star in several TV series, and
he had made several made-for-TV movies and feature films. He had also been a
regular on Days of Our Lives (1968-1970) and The
Interns (1970-1971). After his run on M*A*S*H, Farrell spurned
series work, although he made a number of TV movies and his production company
made the feature film, Patch Adams (1998). He did, however, return to
series work for another successful run in Providence, playing Dr.
James Hansen from 1999-2002. Farrell has been married to actress Shelley
Fabares since 1984. Slightly creased at upper left corner and right edge.
Minor surface creases (not evident head on), one at forehead. Fine
condition.
