MIKE HARDING
Signed headshot of the smiling comedian and folk musician
Photograph signed: "Mike/Harding", in blue felt tip, Color 7¾x9¾. Mike Harding (b. 1944) has had many careers and interests in his life, but is best known for his music and his comedy, first beginning in the 1960's when he was performing folk music and would tell short, humorous anecdotes between songs. The stories soon became the highlight of his performances, and Harding released his first album, A Lancshire Lad, in 1972. He then released his song "The Rochdale Cowboy", which became a popular single in the UK. Harding also found success in his own comedic stand-up routines and composing, composing the themes for DangerMouse, Count Duckula, and The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship. He has written several humorous books in the passing years, and has also become a presence in radio broadcasting, launching his own internet radio show in 2013. Corners lightly worn. Ink notes (unknown hand) on verso. Paper clip impression on top margin. Fine condition.
