Limited edition numbered and signed by the artist: "Ron Lewis/1198/1500". Three images of Schmidt in Veterans Stadium, with background citing his #20, his World Championship of 1980, and a scoreboard announcing him as Player of the Decade on Mike Schmidt Day. MIKE SCHMIDT (b. 1949) played third base for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire Major League career (1972-1989), finishing with 548 home runs, 1,595 RBIs and a .267 lifetime batting average. He was the National League's Most Valuable Player in 1980, 1981 and 1986, and led the league in home runs from 1974-1976, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1986. Schmidt was an all-star in 1974, 1976, 1977, 1979-1984 and 1986-1987. The Hall of Famer won the Gold Glove 10 times (1976-1984, 1986). Few baseball fans would dispute that Mike Schmidt was the greatest all-around third baseman of all time! Nationally known artist RON LEWIS has been making sports art, especially lithographs, since 1983. This striking work captures visually the highlights of Mike Schmidt's career. Fine condition.
