Signature: "Mike/ Stothers", in blue felt tip. 3x5. Attached
is a photo of the NHL player. Mike Stothers (b. 1962) is a retired AHL
and NHL player who played for 13 seasons with the Kingston Canadians
(1979-1982), the Maine Mariners (1981-1984), the Hershey Bears
(1984-1992), the Philadelphia Flyers (1984-1988), as well as the
Newmarket Saints (1987-1988) and Toronto Maple Leafs (1987-88).
Stothers was a tough defenseman with a huge 6'4'', 212 pound frame, and
was chosen 21st overall by the Flyers in 1980, after which he spent most of
his time with the Bears, occasionally being called back up to the NHL. He played
only 30 games in the NHL, during which he had 2 assists and 65 penalty minutes.
He retired in 1992, and became a coach, first as an assistant with the Hershey
Bears, and later as head coach for the Owen Sound Attack. Edges slightly
creased. Pencil on verso in unknown hand. Fine condition.
