5½x3½. Brothers Bernie Winters (1932-1991) and Mike Winters (b. 1930),
born Bernie and Mike Weinstein, formed a comedy team well known in
Britain after they began appearing on TV variety shows in the mid-1950s.
They performed for Queen Elizabeth at the Royal Variety Show of 1962. They first
appeared on film in The Cool Mikado (1963). From 1965 to 1973, they
had their own television program. The team broke up in 1978, after
quarreling about personal matters. Mike moved to Florida, while Bernie had some
success on his own with a new comedy "partner": a St Bernard named Schnorbitz.
Light surface scratches (not visible head on). Slightly soiled. Slightly
creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
