In part: "MILO O'SHEA [left] as Father Tim Farley and MICHAEL O'KEEFE as Mark Dolson in a scene from Bill C. Davis' new Broadway play MASS APPEAL...at the Booth Theatre...O'Shea portays a priest...who, despite his vows, heartily enjoys the temporal pleasures of sparkling burgundy and a shiny Mercedes. Opening Night: Thursday, November 12, 1981". Irish-born stage, screen and television actor Milo O'Shea (1926-2013) was nominated for the 1982 Tony Award for Best Actor (Play) for this role. He had been previously been nominated for a Tony in 1968 (as Best Actor - Dramatic) for Staircase (his Broadway debut). The character actor's notable films include Ulysses (1967), Romeo and Juliet (1968), Barbarella (1968), The Adding Machine (1969), Paddy (1970), Sacco and Vanzetti (1971), The Verdict (1981), The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985), The MatchMaker (1997) and Mystics (2002), and he has appeared on television in such miniseries as QB VII (1973) as well as in made-for-TV movies and in guest starring roles on TV series from Play of the Week (1961) to The West Wing (2004). O'Shea is married to Irish actress Kitty O'Sullivan, with whom he once co-starred in a production of My Fair Lady. Creased at blank corners. Soiled at lower right margin, black mark at lower right corner. Minor surface creases (most not evident head on). Overall, fine condition.
