Typed Letter Signed: "Milton Berle", 1 page, 8½x11. No place, 1955 November 10. To NBC, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, Attention: Mr. James McCann. In full: "Re: 'A Day at the Broker's' - Max Liebman/Television Show, February 27, 1955. Gentlemen: Please be advised that I have destroyed the kinescope print of the sketch entitled as above". Max Liebman Presents was a series of 90-minute "TV Spectaculars" that aired approximately twice a month on NBC for two seasons from 1954-1956. Milton Berle (1908-2002) was the first person to appear on television, in an experimental broadcast in New York City in 1928. Known as "Mr. Television", he was television's first superstar in the late 40s and 50s. Staple and staple hole at upper left corner. Lightly creased. Fine condition.
