Typed letter signed: "Milton Goldman", in blue ink, 1 page, 7¼x10½. January 9, 1967. New York City, New York. In full: "Dear John Willis: I am enclosing an 8x10 head shot of our client Patricia Routledge together with the biography file form you sent to her which she has filled out, and an accompanying biography which will list all her West End Theater credits [items not included]. May I ask that you return the picture after you have finished with it, since we need it for our own files. Sincerely yours". Milton Goodman (1914-1989) was a talent agent in the New York area, working through the late 1950's to the late 1980's, and vice president to the International Creative Management agency. Originally starting as an employee in another company, through a series of mergers and promotions, Goodman became vice president of ICM. His clients included Helen Hayes, Hildegarde, Arlene Dahl, Maureen Stapleton, Mary Martin, Christopher Plummer, Lillian Gish, Ruth Gordon and Kate Reid. The client he refers to here, Patricia Routledge, was a film and Broadway actress. Light surface creases. Fine condition.
