"Mister Roberts/by/Thomas Heggen & Joshua Logan", February 20, 1984. On verso: "Mr. Roberts/Broadcast live on/NBC, March 19, 1984/John Walcutt/as/'Lindstrom'". The play Mister Roberts was televised live on NBC on that Monday evening, March 19, 1984. Actor JOHN WALCUTT, who portrayed Lindstrom, got the cast to sign his script. Judging by what Charley Lang wrote, some, if not all, signed the script on the day of the performance: ROBERT HAYS (Lieutenant Doug Roberts), CHARLES DURNING (The Captain), KEVIN BACON (Ensign Frank Pulver), MARILU HENNER (Nurse Girard), HOWARD HESSEMAN (Doc), RAYE BIRK (Dowdy), BRUCE WRIGHT (Wiley), TYLER TYHURST (Mannion) and CHARLEY LANG (Dolan). On the title page with all the inscriptions, Walcutt has written the acts and pages he appears in. On the cover he has penned: "John Walcutt/'Lindstrom'/Feb-Mar 1984". Cover is lightly creased. 3 file holes at left margin, lightly stained at upper blank right margin. Some inside pages are marked by pencil notes (likely by Walcutt) and yellow highlighter. Overall, fine condition.
