MOISES ALOU - BASEBALL BAT (GAME USED) SIGNED - HFSID 292387
Game-used bat bearing his printed name, and signed in ink on the barrel
Game Used Baseball Bat Signed: "Moises Alou". Game used Rawlings Big Stick baseball bat with his name and EXPOS printed on the barrel. Outfielder Moises Alou (b. 1966) played 17 Major League seasons (1990-2008), making 6 All-Star teams. Although he played the most seasons with Montreal (6), he never went to the postseason with that team, but he was part of the 1997 Florida Marlins World Championship squad, and a playoff participant with Houston twice and the Chicago Cubs once. Moises Alou is the son of Felipe Alou, who was his manager in Montreal and again in San Francisco. He is the brother of former major leaguers Jesus and Matty Alou, and the best hitter of all the Alous. The owner of "Taco Mac," a popular Atlanta restaurant and bar, collected many pieces of sports memorabilia from his athlete friends. This bat is from that collection. Worn. Coat of pine tar extending for 6½ inches between the barrel and handle. Otherwise, fine condition.
