Autograph Note signed: "Molly Picon", 1 page, 4x4. No place, no date. She has drawn a smiley face in the loop of her "P". "To Frank Dixon", in full: "with best wishes from a 'noivess' American Woiking Goil". Molly Picon (1898-1992) who was sometimes called the "Jewish Charlie Chaplin" or the "Jewish Helen Hayes", was the pre-eminent actress in Yiddish theater in the U.S. On vaudeville from age five, she would star on stage, radio and television and in films for seven decades. She was nominated for a Tony as Best Actress in a Musical for Milk and Honey (1962). The following year, she would play her first English-speaking role in Come Blow Your Horn. Picon, who has a Broadway theatre named in her honor, also wrote some 100 songs and skits for her shows. Fine condition.
