Stage and screen actor Montgomery Clift (1920-1966), who had made his debut on Broadway at the age of 13, became an instant star after his film debut in 1948's Red River. Before making his last film, The Defector, in 1966, "Monty" was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor in 1948 (The Search), 1951 (A Place in the Sun) and 1953 (From Here to Eternity). He was also nominated for the 1961 Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as witness Rudolph Peterson in Judgment at Nuremberg. Surface creased. Worn at edges. Fine condition.
