This slip of paper is signed by five members of the hockey team
between 1943 and 1944
Signatures: "Bob Fillion", "Emile Bouchard", "Leo Lamoreux", "Mike
McMahon" and "Gerry McNeil", 8x2½. An original member of the
National Hockey League, the Montreal Canadiens have won an unmatched 23 Stanley
Cup championships. One of those titles came in 1944, when the
Canadiens scored one-sided playoff victories over the Toronto Maple Leafs and
then the Chicago Black Hawks. Emile BOUCHARD, an outstanding
defenseman, played with the Canadiens from 1941 to 1956 and entered the
Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966. Irregularly cut. Closely cropped. Otherwise,
fine condition.
